Valerie D. Jama, Esq.

Valerie has been practicing healthcare and regulatory law since 2017. Valerie joined OhioPHP after recently working in-house at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center (OSUMC) on the Risk Management team, within the Office of Legal Affairs. During her time at OSUMC, she provided legal guidance to healthcare professionals and business units across the entity and submitted regulatory responses on behalf of the hospital. Valerie also managed external litigation requests and reviewed patient safety events along with Quality partners. Valerie is passionate about healthcare policy and enjoys educating on its complex legal and compliance landscape. Valerie received her Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University and Bachelors of Arts in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from University of Richmond.
